SIM Card Promotion in Costa Rica

SIM Card Promotion in Costa Rica

The Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad (ICE) in Costa Rica is offering new mobile phone service packages that include a Nokia 1616 mobile phone, a $20 prepaid SIM card that can be used for texting and calls, plus two movie tickets.

The whole package sells for $40, and the promotion will go on until they run out of units. All phones in the "mi primer kolbi" package come with a six month warranty, and ICE has set a limit of two packages per customer. The movie tickets can be redeemed at several different cinema chains within the country, including Citicinemas, CCM, and Multicines. Tickets must be redeemed before December 3, 2011 and the tickets cannot be used for 3D movies. The package design for the "mi primer kolbi" kits looks to be targeting young people with colorful cartoon characters and a kit that resembles a lunch box.
